Employers denied report
PA Wellington The Government has officially told the Employers Federation that it cannot see a Labour Department report on industrial relations reform. The report includes suggestions for reforming the wage-fixing system,
which may mean that the employers’ push for a contractual wage-fixing process has failed. The Employers’ Federation and the Manufacturers’ Federation have invoked the Official Intonation Act to try to the report.
