Concerts to fund forum?
A series of lunch-time concerts might be held later this year to help provide funds for the Peace Forum.
A spokesman for the group, Mr David King, said several prominent Christchurch musicians had offered to take part. It was hoped to start the concerts during National Music Week in October but the group needed people to help organise the event. Mr King said those able to help should get in touch with him at P.O. Box 289 Rangiora.
The Peace Forum was funded by the P.E.P. scheme, which would be stopped in October, he said.
