McGregor’s new post
PA Auckland The former New Zealand Rugby League president, Ron McGregor, has been appointed secretary of the International Rugby League Board. George Rainey, the present N.Z.R.L. president, said that Mr McGregor
was elected unanimously at the board meeting in Sydney yesterday. Mr McGregor, a 62-year-old chartered accountant and a former Kiwi, resigned as N.Z.R.L. president at the annual meeting in March after 17 years in the post.
