Changes to indoor bowls trophy side
The Canterbury indoor bowls selectors have made two changes in the team to defend the A. S. Paterson Trophy against. South Canterbury at Kearney’s Road on June 22.
Trevor Thompson and Kevin Anngow replace Lloyd Bellis and lan Kamo. Canterbury will face strong opposition from the South Canterbury side which includes the two South Island singles representatives, Darryl Cook and Marian Patrick. The teams are:-
Canterbury.—A. Williamson (s), T. Thompson, G. Lawson, D. Wheeler; L. G. McLennan (s), T. Rice, K. Anngow, A. Curtain.
South Canterbury.—D. Cook (s), I. Hight, G. Morgan, Mrs R. Hight; P. Binham (s), A. Hogg, P. Marsh, Mrs M. Patrick.
The Town team picked to play Malvern at Darfield on June 25 is:-
