Grain firm cuts interest

PA Timaru Farmlands Grain New Zealand Society, Ltd, a national grain merchandising firm, will cut its interest rates to farmers. The managing director, Mr Murray Gilbert, said in Timaru that as from June 1 the society would reduce interest rates on advance payments to farmer-growers 1.75 per cent.
