Shamrock and Classique Technical, which won their fourth round ties away from home, must do the same in the fifth round to remain in the Le Coq Sportif Chatham Cup soccer competition. The draw for southern region teams was made yesterday and meant trips to the bottom of the island for both teams. Shamrock, which beat South Canterbury United in Timaru on Saturday, will go to Jnvercargill to meet Thiswhich won in the southernmost city two
days ago, has a slightly shorter journey in the fifth round, being drawn away to Green Island, of Dunedin. The region’s two Rothmans League clubs, have been kept apart and have home games. Christchurch Brother United will play Caversham and Wickliffe Press Dunedin City will meet Queen’s Park, of Invercargill. The fifth round matches, with the winners to qualify for the last 16 in the commition, will be played on t® week-end of June kl--22.
