Extradition sought

NZPA-Reuter Brussels Belgium has demanded the extradition of 26 British football fans alleged to have had a key role in the Heysel stadium tragedy last year which left 39 dead.

A year to the day after the disaster, which rocked the Belgian Government, a Justice Ministry spokesman said it was now up to the British courts to decide whether the fans would face charges in Belgium.
