ARCHITECTS TWO ARCHITECTS ARE required to work on a variety of Government projects in Papua New Guinea. The successful applicants will be registered architects experienced in all facets of architecture. The positions will involve field trips to various parts of the country. The successful applicants will be required for a minimum contract period of 9 months with possible extension. Salaries (paid in Kina) including 24 p.c. gratuity (which is only taxed at approximately 2 p.c.) and using the current exchange rate of 1 PNG Kina to approximately SI.9NZ (20.5.86) are: Class II architects - K 22,710 equivalent to NZ543,000 (4 years minimum experience). Class 111 architects - K 25.004 equivalent to NZ547,500 (8 years minimum experience). Also provided are accommodation, air fares from point of recruitment to Papua New Guinea and return after completion of contract or after each 12 month period. Car allowance.
