Tennis club facelift

The Edgeware Tennis Club will spend about $42,000 on developing its facilities for the next tennis season.

The club has 10 hard courts arranged in two rows of five. The front row will be changed to two bays of two courts, with a walkway between the bays.

This will mean the loss of one court, but better access to the rest.

Work is to begin almost immediately and is expected to be finished in time for next season’s opening. The money for development has been raised through loans.
