Mr Ian McCormick, the events manager for New Zealand Breweries (right), presents Mr Ian Jenkins, the league’s chairman, with a photograph of Lion New Zealand, and receives a photograph of the Canterbury team which holds the Rugby League Cup. The sponsorship is easily the biggest in the 74-year history of the code in Canterbury.
