Red Cross Day today
Today is World Red Cross Day which will mark this year’s theme, “Give blood — save life.”
The Red Cross Society in New Zealand is involved in blood donor support, providing transport for some donors and care after they have given blood. »
During the last five years the Red Cross has sent 19 laboratory technologists to Africa and Asia to work mainly on blood programmes.
