Turkey ticket for spouse
NZPA-AP Richmond, Missouri
When a conservation agent, George Hiser, and his wife, Marcia, went turkey hunting, he told her to take her best shot. She did, and got two birds with it, along with a ticket from her husband. Not only did Marcia Hiser drop the first turkey at 40 metres, she hit a
second one 15 metres behind it in the same blast.
State law prohibits killing more than one turkey a week during the spring season, and so Mr Hiser charged her for the second bird. “He has to do it,” said Mrs Hiser, who faces a SUSS ($8.60) fine and court costs. “I know what his job is.”
