Dairy field day
A field day will be held on Friday, May 2, on the property of the North Canterbury Dairy Farmer of the Year, K. D. and J. E. Dailey, of Cust The farm is located at Tailots Road, Springbank, and will be signposted from Tram Road. The programme will start at 10.30 a.m. and be held wet or fine. Speakers will include the farmer, Mr Ken Dailey; Mr Jeff Morton, a soil scientist from M.A.F., Greymouth; Mr Mike Wheadon, a consulting officer for the Dairy Board; Mr Alan Sewell, of the Rural Bank; Mr Gerry Stone, a veterinarian; Mr John Roadley, a dairy farmer of Mid-Canterbury; and Mr Norm Hart, of- the M.A.F., Rangiora.
