AKAROA COUNTY COUNCIL PROPOSAL TO CLOSE ROAD TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice Is hereby given that for the purpose of conducting a hill climb event, the following road will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder. Roads proposed to be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic: Pigeon Bay Road - from its Junction with the stock route up to the junction with Summit Road During the period of closure the following provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic which would otherwise use the road. Traffic will be cleared between runs. Period of proposed closure Saturday, April 19, 1986, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.
