This new senior executive appointment, reporting to the managing director, reflects the group’s commitment to providing the most up to date financial support to management and the board’s forward plans. The successful applicant is required to manage the product costing system, to carry out the accounting function, to undertake the financial reporting, to advise on financial strategy and fulfil the legal and statutory obligations as secretary to the board. Other responsibilities include credit control, feasibility studies and budgeting. Preferably applicants should have a background in a manufacturing environment and experience in computer applications. Some experience in export finance would be of advantage.
