Wedding date
NZPA-PA London Prince Andrew and Miss Sarah Ferguson will be married at Westminster Abbey on Wednesday, July 23, Buckingham Palace announced last evening. The date, squeezed into the crowded Royal diary, grants the couple’s wish that they should marry
in the summer — "to get it over with.” The only other detail made known yesterday was that the service will begin at 11.30 a.m. (11.30 p.m. New Zealand time). “There is a lot of work to be done and many details have yet to be worked out,” said a Palace spokesman.
