Mr George Keys
A former senior master at the Cathedral Grammar School, Mr George Keys, has died in Perth. He was 83.
Mr Keys died after an illness.
Mr Keys was senior master at the school from 1923 to 1926. He was also the Canterbury district vocational guidance officer from 1936 to 1946, and
president of the Federation of Teachers from 1935 to 1936.
He moved to Australia in 1947, and became principal of Scotch College, Perth, where he remained until his retirement in 1969.
Mr Keys was awarded the 0.8. E. in 1968 for his services to education.
