Rare tyres stolen
Rare, imported tyres, valued at $16,000, were stolen from the Goodyear truck store in Main South Road, Hornby, on Thursday night. The tyres were especially imported for Toyota campervans, said a police
spokesman. They were not available anywhere else in New Zealand. The tyre type was GY GlO 195 RI4LT 18 ply radial. Anyone being offered such tyres should call the police.
