The New Zealander, Greg Turner, led from start to finish to win the $238,750 Singapore Open golf tournament by four shots yesterday. He shot an even par 71 to finish with a 13 under par aggregate of 271. Canada’s Tony Grimes and the American, P. Duffey Waldorf, were joint second. Grimes finished with a 70 and Waldorf a 67.

Turner narrowly missed

the title in Singapore last year when he lost a sud-den-death playoff against Taiwan’s Chen Tze-Ming.
