Watson wins triples
Marie Watson (Linwood) beat Rosemary Bennett (Rakaia), 24-12, in the final of the Christchurch Women’s Bowling Centre champion-of-cham-pions triples at the Barrington greens yesterday. Although the margin was. quite decisive the Rakaia women played
well. In the semi-finals Watson beat Doreen Le Breton (Woolston W.M.C.), 1816, and Bennett beat Doris Clent (Riccarton Racecourse), 18-9. The inter-club final was also played, Linwood nudging out Beckenham, 18-17. T
