Woman left before court appearance

PA Auckland A Samoan woman who married her brother so she could stay in New Zealand has gone back to Samoa before she was to have appeared in court.

A warrant was ordered for the arrest of Luisa Fetalaiga, aged 29, when she failed to appear in the District Court at Henderson.

Paulo Penese, aged 31, machinest, admitted feigning a marriage with his sister on July 23, 1984, knowing it to be void.
