Queen honours secretary
PA Wellington The Queen confirmed the Queen's Service Order on her private secretary, Sir Philip Moore, in a private ceremony at Government House yesterday. The honour was in recognition of Sir Philip’s services to Her Majesty as
Queen of New Zealand, said the Governor-Gen-eral, Sir Paul Reeves, In a statement Sir Philip, who will be a Companion of the Order, for public services, has been private secretary to the Queen since 1977. He is due to retire in April.
