Public Notices HURUNUICOUNTY COUNCIL PROPOSED STOPPING OF PART OF STOCK ROAD BLOCK V WAIPARA SURVEY DISTRICT PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to Sections 319 (h) and 342 1 (a) of the Local Government Act, 1974, the Hurunui County Council proposes to stop that part of Stock Road described in the schedule hereto: SCHEDULE That portion of Stock Road that connects with Virginia Road in the County of Hurunui and which is described as follows: AREA: 2.0532 hectares SHOWN AS: A SURVEY OFFICE PLAN: 16441 ADJOINING LAND: Part rural section 10085 and rural sections 10064, 10065 situated in block V Walpara survey district. PURPOSE The purpose ot the road stopping is that Council recognises that it is no longer practicable to form a road on the present alignment. Instead It feels the road unused and unformed should be stopped and exchanged for a formal road vested In the Council by the present owners whose land abuts the road to be stopped. This will legalise the existing formal access from Virginia Road to the southern portion of Stock Road. The above mentioned plan is deposited at the Council Offices, Amberley, where it is available for inspection during ordinary office hours. Any person objecting to the proposal shall set forth each objection in writing at the office of the Hurunui County Council, Main North ■ Road, Amberley, or posted to P.O.
