Fugitive surrenders

PA. Gisborne The third man sought in a 10-day police search on the east coast of the North Island has given himself up, the police said yesterday. Cody Haua, aged 27, gave himself up after going to his mother’s house in Ruatoria on Monday evening, said Superintendent Paul Wiseman.

The police had a telephone call from the house just after midnight, he said.

Two constables went to the house and Haua gave himself up.
