Manager stole $3708
PA Wellington A former manager of Pacifica Shipping stole $3708 in cash from the company, Wellington District Court has been told.
Wayne Robertson, aged 30, an unemployed company manager, of Wellington, pleaded guilty to a charge of theft as a servant.
Sergeant Jim McDonough told the Court yesterday that Pacifica Shipping received payment in cash from some customers.
Robertson put the
money direct into the company’s petty cash fund, and then used it to pay personal debts. Judge M. F. Hobbs convicted Robertson, and remanded him for a presentence report and sentencing on March 10.
