FOREST SERVICE has two vacancies at Auckland for suitably qualified persons to carry out import and export forest produce quarantine duties, technical inspections and field sampling requirements of the Timber Preservation Authority, and to provide technical advice to the public. Apllcants should hold the N.Z. Certificate in Forestry or an equivalent qualification relevant to forest produce quarantine work and will have had practical experience in either forestry or an allied industry. The position requires a person with a pleasant personality who is confident in dealing with a wide range of clients, is medically fit and has good eye-sight with full colour vision, and who enjoys working as part of a team.
