Sir,—We have lived in England, in various parts of New Zealand aand in three different areas of Christchurch. In the years in New Brighton
where we now live I have found my frequent visits to the Post Office unfailingly pleaasant occasions. I have found the staff consistently friendly, courteous and efficient. If there is the odd log-jam because of new equipment or training new staff, it is dealt with as quickly as possible. On the other hand I hve been frequently amazed at how quickly long queues are dispersed, and commend the staff bn their unfailing cheerfulness in what must be a demanding and tiring job. — Yours, etc., JILL WILCOX. February 2, 1986.
