Smokers listed

Czechoslovakians who smoke a pack or more of cigarettes a day will be registered in lung disease clinics, the Communist Party newspaper “Rude Pravo” reports. They will be given regular checks in a bid to reduce lung cancer. A provision has been added also to the country’s Labour Code giving very worker the right to a workplace where smoking is banned. Smoking is already banned in schools, hospitals, health centres, cinemas, theatres, public transport, and railway stations.—Vienna.
