TAX CONSULTANTS — WELLINGTON We are seeking qualified accountants with a minimum of two years accounting experience, who wish to specialise in the taxation field or who have had experience in tax work and wish to broaden and develop that experience. The appointees will assume responsibility for a range of challenging and varied tax assignments in corporate reconstruction, mergers, takeovers, and international tax planning, and helping individuals and companies with their tax planning. These positions in our Wellington office will involve companies in all sectors of the New Zealand economy and will extend into all areas of tax consulting. The tax group in our Wellington office currently comprises 4 partners and 13 professional staff. We have one of the largest tax divisions in New Zealand, with a strong training programme to meet the needs of a dynamic and very motivated body of people. The majority of our tax personnel have had overseas tax experience and we would expect appointees to have the opportunity if they wish to transfer overseas to gain further international tax knowledge. The appointees would also be involved in tax consulting for other offices of the firm throughout New Zealand. A top market remuneration package will be negotiated for the right people.
