Not a ball bowled
No ball has yet been bowled in the U-bix Cup minor associations cricket match between Nelson and North Canterbury at Trafalgar Park, Nelson. Water sneaked under the covers on Sunday evening and for the second day running no play was possible yesterday. Rain continued to
fall during much of the day. Only one day remains in the match and it would take a miracle for the challenger, North Canterbury, to wrest the trophy away from Nelson, holder of the U-bix Cup thanks to: its success in the former trophy, the Hawke Cup.
