fThe Rere-1 will near Gisborne is at 3777 m and preparing to drill ahead. The total depth is estimated to be 4950 m. The Card Creek-1 well near Greymouth has encountered minor gas peaks this year, Petrocorp said. The well was at a depth, 0f,979m at 6 a.m. yesterday and drilling is continuing, with a target depth of 1420 m. Bills of S7OM ‘ The Reserve Bank pumped S7OM into the banking system yesterday to help maintain short-term liquidity. It bought S2OM of 17-day bills at interest rates of 19 per cent to 19.5 per cent and JSOM of 74day bills at rates of 23.2 per cent to 23.43 per cent.
