Tims, Childs fined
PA Auckland Peter Tims, the rider of Grand Slide in the Ellerslie Anniversary Cup yesterday, was fined $5O when he weighed in 0.75 kg over his weigh-out total. Greg Childs, the rider of Chuckka Khan in the Singapore Sprint, was fined $3O for his being 0.75 kg over his weight. The judicial committee said it took into account the fact that the pad on Chuckka Khan was damp with sweat.
