Le Bon joins his yacht
PA Whangarei The British pop star, Simon Le Bon, flew in to the Bay of Islands on Tuesday for what is believed to be a brief honeymoon and to film a commercial.
Le Bon has been shunning publicity at the T.H.C. Waitangi Hotel where measures have been taken to protect his privacy.
His Whitbread Round-the-World yacht Drum England sailed from Auckland to Oke Bay on the Russell peninsula overnight. It is believed the Drum will be used for a commercial on sports clothing.
