Gourmet food at extensive delicatessen
The extensive delicatessen section will be headed by Mrs Lorraine Rakowitz, of Rangiora. Lorraine has had extensive experience in catering and bakeries, and for the past five years has worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken outlets in Christchurch. Lorraine, aged 34, married, with two boys, aged 11 and 13, looks forward to giving her customers a personalised service and sees the extensive delicatessen as “exciting.” There will be a wide range of cheeses, pate, salamis, salads, bacons and hams, lunch dishes and
cooked chickens, plus a wide range of other gourmet foods and goodies for the delicatessen enthusiasts. Lorraine will be assisted by Karen Kingston, who has had extensive experience in Haywrights and, later, the Farmers Trading Company in Colombo Street, Christchurch. There will also be one part-time worker. The deli promises to be an exciting and pleasant place to shop, with assistance given by Lorraine when necessary. Lorraine has been training at the Merivale Supervalue prior to taking up the position.
