-Public-Notices- i CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL PROPOSAL TO CLOSE ROAD TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC PURSUANT to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice Is hereby given that the Council, for the purpose of permitting The Rallies and Trials Enthusiasts’ Club (N.Z.) Inc. to hold a car hill climb, proposes to close the following road to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period Indicated hereunder. During the proposed period of closure, the following provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic which would otherwise use the road: Emergency service vehicles or persons with urgent business within the closed area will be permitted access by marshalls of the Rallies and Trials Enthusiasts’ Club (N.Z.) Inc. Hazeldean Road described In the Schedule hereto. SCHEDULE i Portion of Hazeldean Road being all that parcel of land situated in the City of Christchurch and described as follows:Area: 3773 m2 Shown As: A Survey Office Plan: 16470 Adjoining Land: Lot 1 DP 44043, Lot 1 DP 38719 and Part RS 72. PURPOSE The purpose of the road stopping is to allow the adjoining owners to purchase the local road and to lease nearby land from the Railway corporation so that they can consolidate their despatch and receiving of goods operations. This piece of road is not required as part of the reading network. The lighting of all fires (without a written permit from the Principal Rural Fire Officer for the particular area) is strictly prohibited.
