Advertisement Model agency wins acclaim for great success in 1985 The Spotlight Model Agency director, Maree Pannell, said in Christchurch that many women and men do not realise the potential they have to develop a career in the fashion industry, modelling or television. Not only does our model agency produce models, says Maree, but it creates a confidence in the individual to seek out new careers. Courses at the agency work for teenage to mature women as well as men of all ages, who are looking for a positive style for themselves. The industry now covers far more than modelling and for this reason Spotlight have introduced new courses for men and women of today who want to develop what they already have and go beyond that to make a success of whatever job they are doing. Our success in 1985 was wide spread; for Lynda McManus, Miss Canterbury 1985; Sarah Rathbun, Face of the Eighties, 1985; Sharon Collins, chosen to model in Italy, Richard Evans, began a new career in Television New Zealand. The courses they did with Spotlight changed the direction of their lives and careers.
