Damascus visit
NZPA-Reuter Amman King Hussein would visit Damascus this week-end, capping four months of Arab League-sponsored talks aimed at easing years of tension between Jordan and Syria, diplomatic sources said yesterday. They expected the Syrian President, Mr. Hafez Assad, to return the visit early in
the new year, further cementing a rapprochement begun when the two countries’ Prime Ministers met in Saudi Arabia in September. ■ .
