Trainers fined
PA Auckland Seven trainers were fined a total of $290 at Ellerslie yesterday for failing to declare riders by the required time. Ron Langsford (Glamour Dream), Roger Lang (Grumpy’s Choice), Colin Curtis (CoOber’s Gold) and Kitchener Newsome (Honour Bright) were each fined $5O. Warren Dymond (Abit Leica), Nerilee-Ann Robinson (Glenside) and Adrian McNamee (Nugget Bah) were each fined $3O. Paul Hillis, the rider of Carlos Lopez in the Ponsonby Highweight, was suspended up to and including today for causing interference to Sea Harrier about 250 m out.
