Historic tug to leave for Akaroa

The historic tug Lyttelton will leave her home port today for her annual summer excursion to Akaroa. This will be the fifth summer the tug has gone to Akaroa, taking hundreds of holidaymakers for jaunts round Akaroa Harbour and out past Akaroa Heads if the weather is good.

The tug will be back at Lyttelton on January 5 and will return to normal operations there the next week-end. ARRIVALS December 24
