The police yesterday gave the name of a man whose body was recovered from the inner harbour at Lyttelton on Tuesday morning. He was Donald McLean, aged 52, of Christchurch.

Mr McLean’s death was not considered suspicious. His fully clothed body was seen by the passenger of a launch at Lyttelton about 6 a.m. It was recovered by the police about 15 minutes later.
