Reappointment
PA Wellington Sir Allan Wright, of Sheffield, has been reappointed to the Lincoln College Council.
The appointment was announced by the Minister of Education, Mr Marshall, who said Sir Allan was deputy chairman of the College Council, having first been appointed to the council by the Government in 1974.
Sir Allan was president of Federated Farmers from 1977 to 1981 and is now chairman of the Rural Banking and Finance Corporation, and is either chairman or a board member of six other big companies or organisations. He is a member of the New Zealand Cricket Board of Control.
