Security firms busy
Most Christchurch security companies will work at, full strength tonight and during Christmas to assist s Shopkeepers with ’ cd&h on their hands. Securitas, N.Z., Ltd, Armourguard, and Night Security Services, Ltd, will all offer a 24 hpurS-a-day service for collecting and storing cash. A spokesman for Securitas said that as
their main vault normally /closed at 4.45 pan., shopkeepers expecting: to have / large amounts' of cash should arraiige tohave most of it stored: before this time. - Banks will stay open until after the end pt late night trading today to enable shop owners to store Christmas takings, the Press Associa- : tion reports.
