Delivery delay
Mail deliveries in Christchurch were delayed for up to two hours yesterday by a series of stop-work meetings involving postal staff. The chief postmaster, Mr Syd Bradley, said the dispute, which is thought to have related to internal security, was resolved by 3.30 p.m. No mail backlogs were expected.
