Softball selections
Six Canterbury under-age representative softball teams have been named to play in their respective national or South Island tournaments next month.
The teams are (for national tournaments unless stated): •
Under-18 boys to play in Dunedin from January 13 to 16: Mark Wright (Richmond); Glen Lapslie, Michael Thomas (Burnside); Dion Kerr, Errol Byrne (Suburbs); Bevan Nalepa, Warwick Gernhoefer, Mark Swift (United); David Hawker, Carl Tuinenga, Tane Sutton, Aaron Flynn (Cardinals).
