Due date for payment of Southern Petroleum, NL, 10c a share call on contributing shares is January 24. Books dose on December 20 for determining shareholders to whom notice of the call will be sent. The call applies to all 50c ordinary shares at present unpaid to 25c. The call is being made to fund the S6.BM farmin to Licence Area 034, in Taranaki, where a major oil and gas exploration programme is to start in the New Year.
