Mice commit suicide
AFP Jerusalem Thousands of fieldmice have committed suicide by jumping off a rocky moun-tain-top in the' Golan Heights, Israeli radio reports. The lemming-like demise was attributed to an instinct to prevent overpopulation, the report said, quoting specialists. r Estimates put a quarter of a million fieldmice in the Golan, which was annexed by Israel in December, 1981.
