Teenagers arrested
Five Christchurch teenagers were arrested at Cuiverden early last evening after what the police described as a short-lived joyride in a mini car, which had earlier been taken in Christchurch.
The five young people, four aged 16 and one aged 17, were apprehended by the Culverden police at 6.45 p.m. after a routine vehicle check, said a police spokesman.
They would appear in court today, he said.
