Old coins found
NZPA-AP Peking Two large caches of 2000-year-old bronze coins were unearthed in southern China’s Hunan Province, said the official news agency, Xinhua. Peasants in Qiyang County found 250 kg of coins in November, which local experts said were minted during the reign of Han Dynasty Emperor Liu (14087 8.C.), Xinhua said. Another 110 kg of coins were discovered in a clay jar in Shaoyang City last month, some thought to be from the Qin Dynasty (221207 8.C.), according to the report.
