Lendl won’t appeal

NZPA-AAP Melbourne The Czech tennis star, Ivan Lendl, will not appeal over fines totalling sAustlBso ($2220) imposed on him at the Australian Open at Kooyong. Lendl’s manager, ProServ Inc. has notified the Men’s International Professional Tennis Council of his decision.

A representative of M.I.P.T.C. said yesterday that Lendl would be suspended from taking part in all M.I.P.T.C. sanctioned events
