Cannabis growing
Sir, — Regarding your front page story on the $3OO million cannabis industry in this country. Since this industry is bigger in value than total cheese exports for last year, and twice as valuable as kiwifruit exports, I know what I would be growing if I was a farmer. The policing of outdated cannabis laws is costing this country a fortune. These laws are totally ignored by all reasonable men, — Yours, etc., JOHN HARDING. December 4, 1985.
